Owner Mr Peter Baird has been in the building trade for over thirty years and was previously manager of Milebush Building Supplies until it was dissolved by Peter’s former employer. Seeing an opportunity and market of a loyal customer base in Carrickfergus, Peter Established in 2012 along with Wife Lynda and sons Darren and Graham. Starting by renting the same yard as the aforementioned Milebush the family took on complete ownership and running of . After Years of trading we took the next step of purchasing land and building our purpose built Shop and Yard. Our new premises is a stone’s throw away from our humble beginnings and now suitable for us to provide more products and quality service for our Customer.

Sullatober Building Supplies Ltd
we have taken many steps to reduce our carbon foot print and strive for a more sustainable trading future. We have installed a range of Solar Panels on the roof of our Shop and Store. This along with our low Watt LED lighting system and PIR/Spray insulation in the shop, will reduce our need for un-renewable energy.
Along with this many of our products are now supplied in recyclable packaging and we are repurposing our saw dust and shavings into animal beading.
This together will help make us stride for a greener, cleaner tomorrow. 
After being in the building trade for most of my working life and previously manager at a local Building Supplies for 15+ years, I took the opportunity to start my own business. I was able to be supported by my Sons and Wife as we set up Sullatober Building Supplies ltd. We have been supported by dedicated staff over the years and most importantly, You the customer!
I took the opportunity to join the Business in 2012, when our Family started Sullatober Building Supplies ltd in Carrickfergus. In my role as Manager I am in charge of stock/ordering/pricing and the day to day running of the Business. I do so with the up most efficiency and care, making sure the shop and yard materials are always there for our valued Customers. This role gives me the opportunity to be on the front line of customer service to keep us competitive in this challenging business sector. I am enjoying the Challenge.
Since we took the big step to set up Sullatober over a decade ago I have had many roles with in the company but the most important has been supporting my Husband, Sons and Staff in the day to day running of the Building Supplies. And of course keeping everyone on there toes.
